Measure Distance

• Location – the “measure distance” tool is located in the horizontal tool bar above the map
• Description – it is an icon with a measuring ruler at the bottom of it, two separate arrows pointing in different directions above it, with a question mark separating the two arrows.
• Uses – Click on any location on the map and then click on another location, a red line connecting the two points will appear and on the top left corner of the map, a number will appear next to the word ‘Segment.’ If you click on another part of the map, a red line will connect the last two points you clicked on. A new number will appear by the word Segment, giving you the distance between the two new points. Another number will appear beside the word ‘Total’ and this will give you the distance between the first and last point you clicked. You can do this as many times as you wish.
