Basic Structures of
the GIS Viewer
Toolbar – Used to help manipulate the map to do whatever you would like for it to.
Toggle On/Off – This is also called an overlay map, used to identify were on the map you are located.
Direction Frame – The direction frame is the border along the sides of the map. These contain the directions, for instance (North, South, East, and West). If you click on any of theses they will move the map one full page towards the direction you choose.
Links – The links are there for quick access. The links are Land Lookup, Business License, Home, and Help Index.
Layers Menu – The layers menu is one of the most complex parts of the map that everyone seems to get confused on. The layer menu controls which layers are considered active and the layers that are visible.
